**Hands of Hope Hospice Scholarship: for an individual pursuing a career in medicine/allied health, with a preference for candidates leaning toward end of life care.
Lowell C. Kruse Healthy Choices. Healthy Lives. Scholarship: supports a first-year graduate student from the specified service region* enrolled in minimum of 9 hours per semester in an area leading to improved quality of life for residents of our region. Examples include, but are not limited to, Health Care Administration, Early Childhood Development, Not-For-Profit Management and Educational Leadership. Application deadline is June 14. Patrick L. Newman Mic-O-Say Scholarship: honors a man who spent a good part of his life involved with Boy Scouts. This program is open only to members of the Boy Scouts Tribe of Mic-O-Say. The applications are available year round, and are due October 15. No Health Care Requirement.
